It is with great honor and a deep sense of responsibility that I assume the office of Vice Chancellor of Martyr Dasharath Chand University of Health Science, Geta, Kailali. I extend my sincere gratitude to the Government of Nepal and all relevant authorities for entrusting me with this important responsibility at a pivotal time in the University’s growth.
Martyr Dasharath Chand University of Health Science was established with a noble mission: to advance the quality of health sciences education, promote impactful research, and contribute meaningfully to improving public health services in Nepal. As a national institution named after a revered martyr, the University carries both academic and moral obligations to uphold excellence, integrity, and service to society.
My vision is to develop the University as a center of excellence in health sciences, committed to high academic standards, innovation, ethical practice, and community engagement. We will strive to produce competent, compassionate, and socially responsible health professionals who can meet national and global health challenges. Strengthening academic programs, enhancing research capacity, promoting inter-professional collaboration, and fostering partnerships with national and international institutions will remain key priorities.
I firmly believe that the University’s success depends on collective effort. I look forward to working closely with faculty members, staff, students, and stakeholders to build an inclusive, dynamic, and forward-looking academic environment.
